Paris Exposition 1900

I'm so excited, I can't believe I found this wonderful box...in fact I almost missed it. I stopped by my favorite haunt, Salvation Army, to see what they had. It was nice so I took the opportunity to poke around in their back lot.   If it's raining nothing is out and this area is closed up.

Well they had  gotten a large donation in and things were piled precariously everywhere and employees were trying to deal with it.  So I just gave a quick walk about and was moving on to go in the store proper, when I looked up and saw the word PARIS on a box at the very top of a stack of cardboard boxes. I couldn't get help quick enough to get it down.
When I told the clerk I would take it, this beautiful large box with the dovetail construction, the wonderful graphics and best of all the words "PARIS EXPOSITION 1900", he looked at the box and said "this old thing! How about $1.50. Oh my gosh it's mine and I'm over the moon!!!

Some days you just got to look up!!!

I'll be incorporating it into the display on top of hutch...going to change things up a bit, do some editing and replacing. Be back soon with the reveal...
